Week 29
Mum:
The more time passes the more your baby is growing and so is your body. As your internal organs become crowded, the discomforts in your back, legs and the lack of breath set in. The best way to ease such discomforts is to maintain a good posture at all times, proper nutrition, exercise and as much rest as you can afford.
Baby:
The baby is now regulating his own temperature and the bone marrow is completely in charge of the red blood cell production. S/he is even urinating about half a litre of urine into the amniotic fluid every day.
Movements now change into smaller but cramped pushes. Your baby may be up all night and asleep all day so that means that you will be having much less uninterrupted sleep in the weeks to come.
Dad:
You may ease her aches and pains by treating her to a back rub or a foot massage. Cool ice packs especially in summer may help swollen and aching feet.
