Week 35
Mum:
Your pregnancy is progressing and between the discomforts of sleeping, bathroom visits and all the thoughts running through your head, you may have trouble sleeping at night. Some claim that this is Mother Nature’s way of preparing you for life with a new baby. You will start questioning whether you will be a good mother and if you have made all the right decisions. Try to relax; things will fall in place as they come along. This last month you should have your hospital bag for you and your baby ready. It is also the time to arrange for child care of siblings and care of the house and pets. You should also prepare any siblings for the coming of a new baby.
Baby:
Your baby’s body is undergoing some final touches before birth! It is during these last few weeks that the baby will put on most of his or her weight. It is important to remain constantly aware of the fetal movement and his wake/sleep pattern.
Dad:
Now might be the time to play with your baby. When you put your hand on mom-to-be’s belly you will feel the baby moving. You may also see how your baby responds when you tap on the belly.
