Safety Warning for improper use of Folding Shnuggle Bath Stand
This information is for customers who have purchased a Shnuggle Folding Bath Stand that doesn’t come with the safety strap. If your bath stand already has a fabric webbing safety strap – you do not need to take further action.
We have taken this voluntary action to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our customers and apologise for any inconvenience.
As safety is our number one concern, and in the eventuality that the bath is fitted improperly on the folding stand, there is a potential risk the bath can fall from the stand. Shnuggle have therefore designed an additional safety strap that can be easily fitted to the bath to prevent the risk of the baby falling from the product.
If you own a Shnuggle Folding Bath Stand, it is important that you check if the strap is included with your model or not. If not, it is important to stop using the bath and collect a strap from our showroom in San Gwann today

Q: What’s the problem? A: We have learned if the Bath is fitted incorrectly to the stand, there is a risk the bath can fall from the stand. The new safety strap will prevent this.
Q: Is the stand safety tested? All Shnuggle products are independently tested at UKAS accredited test labs, to all required safety standards. The Folding Bath Stand must meet EN 17072:2018.
Optional further testing; safety strap tested to 40kg for 72 hours without damage.
Q: My product appears to be okay. Can I continue to use it? A: No, customers should stop using the stand immediately and visit our shop to collect a free ‘Safety Strap’ which includes instructions on how to fit the strap.
Q: What should I do if I experience problems? A: Stop using the bath stand immediately. You are still able to use the Shnuggle baby bath safely without the stand. Please contact us for support on the contact details above.
